Hill & Smith Plc engages in the design, manufacture, and supply of infrastructure products and galvanizing services. It operates its business through the following segments: Infrastructure Products-Utilities; Infrastructure Products-Roads; and Galvanizing Services. The Infrastructure Products-Utilities segment supplies products characterized by a degree of engineering expertise, to public and private customers involved in the construction of facilities serving the Utilities markets or in the maintenance of such facilities. The Infrastructure Products-Roads segment offers permanent and temporary safety products to customers involved in the construction or maintenance of national roads infrastructure. The Galvanizing Services segment deals with galvanizing and related materials coating services to companies including construction, agriculture, and infrastructure. The company was founded by Edward Hill and Henry Smith in 1824 and is headquartered in Solihull, the United Kingdom.
