About NXT

Next is a relative newcomer to the UK retail clothing scene, having opened its first womenswear store in 1982. In 1986 it acquired mail order company Grattan and two years later launched its own directory business. It has more than 500 stores in the UK and Ireland, and around 200 stores overseas.
