Gresham House Income & Growth VCT plc is a United Kingdom-based venture capital trust VCT. The Company invests in companies at various stages of development. The Company invests in unquoted and new and secondary issues of quoted companies which already have a trading facility on the alternative investment market. It primarily makes investments in support services software and computer services and general retailers. The Companys objective is to provide investors with a return by maximizing the stream of the tax-free dividend distributions from the income and capital gains generated by a diverse portfolio of investments while continuing at all times to qualify as a VCT. The Companys policy is to invest primarily in a diverse portfolio of the United Kingdom unquoted companies. Investments are generally structured as part loan and part equity in order to receive regular income and to generate capital gains upon sale. Its investment adviser includes Gresham House Asset Management Limited.
