How RSS works
RSS, which stands for Really Simple Syndication, is an XML-based file or ‘feed’
of information. When you subscribe to an RSS feed, that content is delivered to
your web browser, desktop widget or pod-catching software as it’s published on
our site.
How to subscribe to an RSS feed
To subscribe to any of our feeds, just click the appropriate RSS button and
follow the instructions. Of course, you need to use a browser that supports RSS
feeds – we recommend Firefox, Internet Explorer 7.0 or Safari.
We recommend you subscribe to our podcast feed using iTunes, but you can use
other pod-catching software if you prefer.
If you click an RSS link but don’t have a compatible reader installed on your
computer, you will see XML code in your browser. To fix this, just paste the
feed address into an RSS news reader – you can select one from our list of compatible readers.
