PRESS RELEASE
Motley Fool UK Wins Top Online Finance Award

November 29, 2001

The Motley Fool UK yesterday won the People's Choice award for favourite financial website at the 2001 Investor's Week Online Finance Awards, hosted by Jonathan Ross. This event recognises the achievements of companies and organisations that have embraced the opportunities provided by the Internet for all aspects of personal finance.

The People's Choice Award is unique among the Awards because it is decided by the readers of the Evening Standard and Investor's Week magazine, rather than the panel of judges.

Bruce Jackson, Managing Director and Founder of the Motley Fool UK, said: "We are particularly pleased to have won the People's Choice Award as it confirms our popularity amongst the ordinary people we are here to serve." He went on: "This award is a mandate for us to continue to demystify finance and promote value for money in the financial services industry. Thank-you to all who voted for us."
