A great wall of pessimism coming from the comments. Why not look on the bright side - we are a reasonably rich and affluent nation, manufacturers such as Nissan and Rolls Royce seem to be doing okay, we have many other businesses such as Vodafone and Tesco which are up with the best in the World.
Yes Labour left us in a mess with massive debts and a failing education system and NHS but we are rich enough, creative enough and good enough to overcome these issues. I look forward to the next 30+ years, an opportunity to put right our wrongs and build a great nation for our kids.
