I had "John Maynard Keynes is arguably Britain's most famous economist" in my first draft, but I was probably subconsciously influenced by the fact that most of the economics blogs that I read tend to mention Keynes far more frequently than Adam Smith.
Also the last economics course I took mentioned Smith once but Keynes got a look in all over the place.
That said, I'm firmly in the Austrian School!
