How To Win At The Bookies

Published in Investing on 21 August 2012

David Kuo discusses why investing in bookmakers is a good long-term bet.

In this edition, David also discusses the fortunes of William Hill (LSE: WMH) and Ladbrokes (LSE: LAD), and talks to Sonia Rehill about three factors that investors should look out for when evaluating a bookmaker's potential.

David, it's interesting that you talk about betting "on" the bookies as being a better bet (pun intended) than than betting "with" the bookies. If we extend the concept of a bookie to include spread betting companies, then I was thinking much the same thing when I wrote this a couple of weeks ago: http://goo.gl/hsSwC
