Have you been lacking a little something in the libido department recently? Well put away the little blue pills that cost £10 a pop (so I am told), and forget about ointments, aromatic oils, scented candles and herbal remedies. Of course, damiana properly applied may work wonders -- as it has done for the Mayas in the nether regions of Central America. And muira puama may well whip Amazons into a frenzy up the Orinoco. But I'll show you a better way to improve your sex life without the help of medication. According to insurance giant AXA, as many as two million British adults admit that worrying about their finances has caused more than their bank balances to droop. It seems that around 1.3m women and over 700,000 men in Britain have lost their libido because of money-worries. And it matters little whether you are single, divorced, married or cohabiting. It can affect anyone, though you are more likely to succumb if you are a woman and come from the North! Apart from affecting your love life, money worries can also cause you to spend less quality time with your partner. Additionally, around half of those afflicted reckon they are more likely to fly off the handle when they are anxious about money. What's more about a quarter claims that money worries has made them spend less time with their children. AXA reckons it may be the lack of financial understanding and know-how that is affecting the mental and physical aspects of personal relationships. But handling your own finances needn't be difficult. After all, you don't need to be an expert in double entry to give your finances a boost. What matters is to keep you financial affairs simple. And as boring as it may seem, it can be as easy as investing in an ISA. For instance, if you don't like risk then a Cash ISA should hit the spot. It can be your rainy day fund for minor crises, or it can be a reassuring lifeboat if the unexpected should happen. But if you want something racier then consider an index-tracking ISA -- you can let simply lie back and let the market slowly work its magic through the miracle of compounding. So there you have it. Conquer your money problems and your sexual frustrations by investing little and often in an ISA. I've invested in ISAs for years, and the added beauty is I don't need to tell the taxman about it --that's one less thing to worry about. Put the rumpy pumpy back in your life by finding out more about ISAs.
