Where Next For BP?

In this week’s episode:

It was nearly a year ago when an explosion on a BP (LSE: BP) oil rig in the Gulf of Mexico caused one of the worst environmental disasters in marine history. It also brought one of the world's largest oil companies to its knees. This week, David Kuo chats with Stanley Reed who, together with Alison Fitzgerald, co-authored In Too Deep, which looks at the drilling race which led to these events. Find out why Reed and Fitzgerald believe that the accident was bound to happen and whether they think BP has learnt from its past mistakes.

Good to start with but Stanley Reed seems to be totally illogical in judging Bob Dudley. Dudley was responsible for TNK and so should have known the JV agreement backwards. Instead he barely seems to understand it. Another turtle who has no grip on the real business. Got it wrong twice.
Initial deal against JV agreement
Secondly even a share swap was against deal.
Next turtle please.
Reed was wrong , arbitration was in Sweden not UK. Normal business with many contracts.
No comment from Reed on fact most (all?) real mistakes were Amoco heritage people.
