She has some interesting tips - thanks! Glad to hear she thinks the one of them I hold has further to go :)

Just checked TMF's GARP board. It looks surprisingly quiet, and some of what's there is small-caps, which might be seen as more speculative than this kind of investment. Is it just unfashionable among Fools?

(I love it when I identify a share as a GARP with any degree of confidence)!

great podcast - you guys dont speak about specific companies as often as you used to (I always used to look forward to Maynard Payton's commentary!) - hope you do more podcasts like this one in the future
cheers

Hi UncleEbenezer

Jane is very good. I met her on CNBC last year and I knew straight away I had to invite in to chat to us about her GARP stocks.

Best regards

David

Hi antoineR8

We try to invite a variety of guests onto Money Talk. Some will be stock specific, some will be about investing styles and some will be about the general economy.

We have some stock specific podcasts pencilled in that I hope you will find interesting.

Foolish regards

David

Yeah got to agree with AntoineR8.
I would love to hear podcasts from investing experts on big oilers one week, and then financials the next, or retailers or miners etc.
That would be fantastic!

I also have to agree with the above, the general and educational podcasts are interesting and informative, but it is the stock specific ones that really get the juices flowing.

About the presenter

David Kuo is The Motley Fool’s media personality. He can be heard on BBC London’s (94.9FM) Breakfast Show where he arouses listeners every weekday morning with his unique brand of financial news. He is also a regular commentator on national news programmes including CNBC, BBC News, and Sky News.

David stumbled into the world of broadcasting at the turn of the Millennium when he was invited to comment on the stock market crash. He says, “I think I stunned Londoners speechless when I said the good thing about the crash is that shares are now more affordable for people who want to invest in the stock market!”

His attitude to investing has never wavered, as he always sees downturns in the market as a buying opportunity for long-term investors.
