MBNA Credit Cards

MBNA has three main credit cards in the UK. If you’re looking to do a 0% balance transfer, or a cashback card, MBNA can help you out.

The company also specialises in affinity credit cards - where other organisations offer a card that is operated by MBNA. Affinity partners include Manchester United, Sony, BT and The National Trust.

In addition, MBNA operates credit cards for other financial services companies such as Alliance & Leicester and Virgin Money, but you won’t see the MBNA prominently displayed on those cards.

MBNA has a long history in the credit card world. Until early 2006 MBNA Corporation was the world’s largest independent credit card lender. The company merged with Bank of America in early 2006 and was re-branded as such. However, in Canada and Europe the MBNA name is still used.
