Fool's Corner - Open Your Own Board!

List All Boards | Request a Boardsoapbox

Step right up and climb onto the stage! Our Fool's Corner is dedicated to spotlighting individual discussion boards for members of the Fool Community. Our motto in the Fool Community has always been "Learning Together," and more than anything else over the past five years we have been reminded over and again that the power of many people working together outweighs the power of a single Fool.

You will find all sorts of boards in this folder. All of them individual and all Foolish in their own way. The Wheel Tappers & Shunters Club discussion board went down a treat with the Lancastrian Fools for whom it was opened. The sponsor of the Weight Control discussion board said that it was aimed at Fools of all shapes and sizes who have a concern about weight control. The Holiday Ideas & Advice discussion board was requested by someone who loves going on holiday and wanted a place to share holiday ideas. What would your board be about?

Would You Like To Open Your Own Board?

Any registered member of the Fool Community can request a personal discussion board. These boards are great meeting places for a few friends or for a few hundred. Maybe it's too busy in the mainstream Fool boards and you want to invite a few folks over to "your place" to chat with a little less noise. This is the perfect place to do it! We do have a few ground rules:

  1. It really helps if you have a focus for your board. We request that you state the purpose or focus of the board in your first posting. The focus could be just that you want a quiet place to meet with friends. All we ask is that you say what the purpose is so people understand what you're trying to do there.
  2. All of our community rules apply to these boards.
  3. Even though these are individual boards, they are public, so please be nice to guests who wander into your part of the garden. As always, if someone violates our rules in your board, just let us know by using the "Report this Post" link and we'll work to solve the problem.
  4. If a board is inactive for 90 days, it will be hidden from view, though not deleted.
  5. These boards may not be used for advertising or for soliciting business.
