What is the starting price for my pick?

If the market is open, the starting price will be the price of the stock approximately 20 minutes after the time you make the pick. Since CAPS uses 20-minute delayed stock quotes, this rule prevents members from using real-time quotes to get an unfair advantage. If you end a pick, you must wait to receive an end price. Until then, the pick will appear in the pending section of your scorecard.
