Unilever has a very strong portfolio of brands which consistently sell well around the world (overseas exposure is preferable to UK exposure because of the mess that is the public finances)

I expect it to grow steadily due to it's global presence, and therefore faster than the UK economy. Plus the current price is very reasonable.
