OME fits my three ten criteria, and I like this stock a lot.
A few months ago, my 3-10 was "telling" me this stock is a winner, but I didn't listen as OME trades at very low volume, and I didn't see any upside potential in its chart.
After OME went up 50+% during the last 3 months, I've learned I need to listen to my 3-10.

I don't think OME is going to be a huge winner, but it's definitely going to be a nice one.
I consider OME my long term holding.

The high growth in fish meal and fish oil products may be over. But even if OME experiences slow growth or no growth, they are still profitable and cheap enough to be a decent investment.

I always buy the Tropicana OJ with Omega 3 fish oil. Not because I think it's good for me, I just like the perversity of the idea. I think we're in an alternate universe and this is what happened in the main one:

CEO: "Hey, what would make this delicious orange juice even better?"
Underling: "FISH OIL!"
CEO: "You're fired."

a couple of months ago i started taking fish oil pills as a dietary supplement to see if it would help my aching knee. i have been in pain for many years and often walked with a limp. it worked! after only a few days my knee is almost completely painless and the rest of my aging joints feel better. i did some research to find a company in the fish oil business. omega protein corp. is my choice for my investment dollar. i think my fellow baby boomers could grow this market for many years.

Farmers have switched soy bean fields to corn this year. Soy beans are up. Fish meal competes with Soy bean meal. Expect fish meal prices to rise.
