4 years of heavy losses have given LIZ a negative book value (to put this in perspective, less than 2% of companies are in this unfortunate situation). LIZ just reported a small Q4 2011 profit due to a gain on selling assets. Fundamentally, however, the company appears to be challenged, yet today March 1, 2012 the stock closed at a 3 year high of $11.10...! At this point in time, this author would like to go out on a limb and state that LIZ appears to be a good short candidate.
