If, "IF", 3D Systems really does bring 3D printing into the consumer space this will be something that everyone will want and everyone will have. The only question is whether DDD will be able to keep up with demans once 3D printing mania takes the USA consumers by storm.Maybe I'm just a nerd, but I already want one of these things in my house, and I can't even think of a practical use for it. But dammit, I still want one!The P/E on DDD is quite hight at 40+, however, I think they are a rule-breaker at least for the next couple years, unless their bid to bring 3D printing to the home of consumers flops miserably.Ultimately, I think that 3D printing for the consumer will be a FAD, but it will be a very lucritive FAD for several years at least.
