Gather the facts with your credit report and National Credit Score
Before you go any further, you need to know what you're dealing with – yep, this means checking your credit report. You can do this for free with our partner, Experian, by signing up to be a member of CreditExpert. There's a free 30-day trial, and if you cancel your membership within that 30 days you won't pay a thing. We also strongly recommend you check your National Credit Score, which you can do once you're a member of CreditExpert, but that will cost £5.95.
If you really need to borrow, consider your options
Curious about remortgaging or taking out a secured loan, but not sure it's right for you? No problem. We've formed partnerships with no-fee mortgage brokers London & Country and secured loan brokers Loanmakers to give you a chance to ask questions and get advice without worrying about being pressured into making any decisions.
To contact London & Country, call 0800 953 0596 to speak with an advisor right away, or fill out our mortgage enquiry form and specify the time you would like a London & Country representative to call you back. Filling in this form does not obligate you to anything.
To contact Loanmakers, fill out our secured loan enquiry form and specify the time you would like a Loanmakers representative to call you back. Filling in this form does not obligate you to anything.
